NIMELSSA ESSAY COMPETITION 2020 FINALISTS.

The Nigerian Medical Laboratory Science Student Association (NIMELSSA), UNILAG chapter just concluded an essay competition, the first of its kind.
The essay captured the entire College of Medicine, University of Lagos with the topic, 'The role of health workers in preventing and containing the spread of a pandemic: corona virus as a case study.'
This essay topic was chosen to help medical students recognize their various roles, how they can directly or indirectly help during this global pandemic and ultimately prepare them in case another one occurs in the future. Collection of entries spanned a month: from 17th of June, 2020 to 17th of July, 2020.

We got the 39 participants and the entire college on fire ever since, but we had to calm them down with our seasoned judges from all the departments in the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (CMUL). We also had medical practitioners, professional writers/content creators with awesome profiles as our chief judges.
They all worked together and dedicated their time and energy to produce a very transparent and entirely awesome result.
Today is August 3rd, 2020 and like we promised, we are here to announce the three winners!
No lies, all the participants were wonderful, and they got our minds blown! But you know, there must always be a winner.
